The largest hurdle to overcome is creating a team of skilled and dedicated people.  Without that team in place, the operation will suffer and the company is destined to fail.  Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to ensure that we build successful and effective teams.  When we have that team in place...  compensate them for their efforts.
